The Scoundrel uses some of the GenoHaradan equipment, which means you’ll be getting quite a few dark side points as is. Usually though they are dual blaster wielders because they get sneak attack on every hit from a blaster (2x shots compared to other ranged weapons). At least for Scoundrel 7-Consular 13 which has easy progression on Taris, then lots of debilitating powers as Consular while maintining his sneak attack feat. For instance giving them access to Vapad, Mace Windu's form, that gives them more power against Sith opponents.Surprisingly, it is the one of easiest. If this is done, then Jedi should be given access to forms that are influenced by their affiliation. Originally KOTOR didn't have lightsaber forms, but they were introduced in the sequel, and it would be relatively simple to implement them in the remake. There is another potential avenue that Jedi could follow. The remake could focus on allowing the light side more variation in its utility and the damage. For instance, force push is a power that both sides can use without issue. One possible option would be to focus on the few light sides and neutral power options. The Knights of the Old Republic remake has a chance to fix this issue to make the light side more appealing to the player. ![]() ![]() There was a direct consequence as many of your companions would leave if you followed the dark side, but enough stayed that it was rarely a significant issue. Dark Side powers were more direct and dealt damage to enemies as either individuals or groups. While the light side powers focused on buffing the player, they were nothing that stims couldn't do. There was also an issue in that the powers of the Dark Side were often considerably more useful. This made sense lore-wise, as the Dark side is often considered to be stronger initially, but there was never really a point where the two sides leveled out. If players chose the dark side, they were often rewarded with more money and more experience and levels, resulting in dark side characters who were often stronger than their light side counterparts. ![]()
